A form builder with no Google account
Looking for a Google Forms alternative? Poll makes forms and surveys for anyone. You do not need a Google account, and neither do the people who answer.
- Free. No sign-up.
- No branding on your form.
- 10,000 responses a month for each form.
- Deleted 90 days after the last response.
What is different
- No account. You build a form and get a link at once. Nobody signs in to answer.
- No branding. Your form shows your questions only. There is no logo of ours and no "made with" banner.
- One question on each screen. Big buttons, easy to use on a phone.
- Skip logic. A choice can send the person to another section, or end the form.
- Your data is yours. Download a CSV file, or send each response to Hooks as JSON.
- Short life. The server deletes a form 90 days after its last response.
Many free plans limit the number of forms, the number of responses in a month, or show a brand on your form. Poll does not count your forms. Each form takes 10,000 responses a month, with no branding. Poll does not take file uploads or payments in this version.
Questions
How is Poll different from Google Forms?
You do not need a Google account to make a form, and the people who answer do not need one. There is no branding on your form. The form asks one question on each screen, which works well on a phone.
Does Poll have limits like the free plans of other form makers?
Poll has no limit on how many forms you make, except a daily limit that stops abuse. Each form takes 10,000 responses a month. There is no count of forms, and no branding to remove.
Can I get my data out?
Yes. Download all responses as a CSV file that opens in any spreadsheet. You can also send each response to Hooks as JSON when it arrives.
What does Poll not do?
Version 1 has no file upload, no payments and no sign-in. You manage a form with its manage link. If you need these, use a tool that has them.
Do I need an account?
No. You make a form and get a link at once. The people who fill it in do not need an account either.
What is the manage link?
When you make a form, you get two links. Share the first link with the people who fill it in. Keep the second link, the manage link, for yourself. With it you see the responses, download them, close the form or delete it.
How long does the form stay?
The server deletes a form and all its responses 90 days after the last response. If nobody answers, it deletes the form 90 days after you made it. You can delete it sooner with your manage link. Read more about privacy.
What may I not ask in a form?
A form must not ask for a password, a card number, a security code or a social security number. Poll refuses a form with these words in a question, a choice or a title. Use a payment page or a secure tool for them.
What are the limits?
Responses for each form in a month: 10,000. Questions in one form: 40. Forms per minute: 10. Forms per day: 50. Days a form stays after its last response: 90. Limits are monitored. They may go up automatically, or on request. To ask for more, write to kamadorueda@gmail.com.
